All free user accounts are associated with individuals. Login credentials should not be shared by users with others. The individual associated with the account will be held responsible for all actions taken by the account, without limitation.

Users may provide a business name or a company name, which is associated with the User's Account. Infect with viruses or any other technologies that may harm the Website, or the interests or property of our website users (including their Intellectual Property Rights, privacy, and publicity rights) or is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy, vulgar, obscene, profane or which may harass or cause distress or inconvenience to, or incite hatred of, any person;
7. Infringe any laws, third party rights or our policies
8. Manipulate our fee structure, the billing process, or fees owed to Freelancer;
9. take any action that may undermine the feedback or reputation systems (such as displaying, importing, or exporting feedback information or using it for purposes unrelated to the Website);
10. Transfer your user account in our website (including feedback) and Username to another party without our consent;
11. Distribute or post spam, unsolicited, or bulk electronic communications, chain letters, or pyramid schemes;
You are responsible for paying any taxes, including any goods and services or value added taxes, which may be applicable depending on the jurisdiction of the services provided.
You acknowledge that you must comply with your obligations under income tax provisions in your jurisdiction.
For Indian Seller on Freelancart.com: You are requested to file your income tax as per Income Tax laws in India.

Transparent Pricing:We believe in transparency, and that's why we want you to know that all our service prices are exclusive of taxes. As per government regulations, a standard Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate of 18% will be applicable to all our services.

You must not advertise any external website, product, or service on the Website unless we agree otherwise. The Project, Contest, item listed, user, or service being performed on the Website must be the subject of any website address posted on the Website, including in a listing, bid, listing description, clarification board, or message board.
On the Website, we may present promotions or advertisements. You agree that we will not be held liable for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of seeing these advertisements or promotions or dealing with third parties in the future. You also acknowledge and agree that
copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights and laws may protect the content of any advertisements or promotions. You agree that you will not modify, sell, distribute, appropriate, or create derivative works based on such advertisements or promotions unless specifically authorized by Freelancer or third-party right holders.
You grant us permission to conduct any inquiries we deem necessary to verify your identity, either directly or through third parties. At our request, you must: 1) give us additional information, such as your birth date or other details that will allow us to reasonably identify you; ( 2) verify ownership of your email address; or, thirdly, check your information against databases or other sources.
Additionally, you must provide copies of any identification documents we request, such as your driver's license or passport. We may likewise request that you give visual ID keeping your recognizable proof intact with a sign with a code that we give as an extra personality confirmation step. Additionally, we reserve the right to request a video interview with you to verify your identity, background, and abilities.
If we are unable to obtain or verify the information that we request in accordance with this section to our satisfaction, we reserve the right to close, suspend, or restrict access to your Account, the Website, and/or the Freelancer Services.
In order to match any identity documentation that has been provided, we reserve the right to update your details on the website. Distributions, for example, wire moves from the site may simply be made to the recipient matching your gave personality archives and record data.

If we believe that the source of the funds is fraudulent, we reserve the right to halt a user's request for a withdrawal.
We will immediately reverse any funds transferred from one Account to another as a result of a fraudulent transaction if we learn of it. You are obligated to deposit the funds into your Account if those funds have already been released to you. We reserve the right to take legal action against you to recover those funds if you fail to comply.
If any of the following conditions are met, we reserve the right to limit the use of any or all the funds in your Account:
We believe there may be an unacceptable level of risk associated with you, your Account, or any or all your transactions, including the possibility of reversal or chargeback of funds;
We believe that someone other than you will receive the payment;
We think the money is going to a country where we do not provide our service; or we are required to do so by law or the authorities in our jurisdiction.
We may, in certain circumstances, temporarily limit the funds in your Account to cover any potential liability if you are involved in a dispute. We will lift the limit on your funds and may release those funds to you if the dispute is resolved in your favour. We may take the money out of your Account if the dispute is not settled in your favour. If we have reason to believe that you are engaging in unethical or fraudulent behaviour, we may also limit your account while we investigate.
We might close, suspend, or restrict your admittance to your Record without reason. We may close, suspend, or restrict your access to your Account, without limiting the foregoing:
if we find that you have violated this User Agreement or are acting in violation of it; if you charge too low on a project to privately renegotiate the actual price and avoid fees; if we determine that you have violated intellectual property rights or other legal rights (resulting in actual or potential claims); if we discover that you have been or are engaging in illegal or fraudulent activities;
You do not respond to requests for account verification; You fail to complete account verification within three months of the request's date.
You agree that if a dispute arises between you and another User regarding a Project, you will first attempt to resolve any disagreements you may have regarding the Project, including the quality of the services provided.
We encourage you to get in touch with us as outlined in the clause titled "Contacting us" if you continue to have issues with a dispute with another user regarding a Project. The Freelancer has the right to ask the Seller and the Buyer for proof of their claims or positions in relation to the dispute whenever they receive a dispute. You acknowledge that Freelancer can accept or reject any document at any time. Additionally, you acknowledge that Freelancer is not a judicial or alternative dispute resolution institution and that we will only act in a normal, reasonable manner when making decisions. You agree to indemnify and (to the maximum extent permitted by law) hold Freelancer and any of our affiliates harmless from any damages or liability you may suffer as a result of any documentation or material that is subsequently found to be false or misleading. In addition, we do not guarantee that the documents provided by the parties to the dispute will be true, complete, or correct.
You agree to indemnify Freelancer from all claims, demands, and damages, actual and consequential, of every kind and nature, known and unknown, that are related to such a dispute, our decisions, or the use of the Milestone Dispute Resolution Services for Milestone Payments and/or for Other Disputes. This applies to disputes with any other users of the Website.

a) Not having any outstanding listings on the website
b) Must have resolved all outstanding and pending matters related to your account.
c) Clear all outstanding dues and charges owing to the account.
We may keep some of your personal information to meet our own obligations to you and the law. Even if you close your account, we may still keep some of your information.
We, our subsidiaries, affiliates, or employees are not responsible for any of the following: breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort (including negligence), or any other form of liability.
any potential direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages you might suffer; any potential (direct or indirect) loss of revenue, profits, or business; any claim, harm, or loss you might suffer as a result of using the Website to conduct business. Regardless of whether we, our affiliated companies, related entities, or employees were informed the possibility of such losses or damages, the above limitations on our liability to you remain in effect.
This User Agreement does not intend to limit or exclude any liability on our part or that of our affiliates or related entities if and to the extent that applicable law prohibits such an exclusion or limitation.
We expressly limit our liability for breach of a non-excludable condition or warranty implied by virtue of any legislation to the following remedies (the selection of which is to be made at our sole discretion): the supply of the freelancer services again or the payment of the cost of having the freelancer services supplied again. If we can limit our remedies under this User Agreement, we will.
Any legal notice, registration notice or account closure notice will be sent to your registered email id and response has to be sent within 48 hours unless email address is invalid or that the email has not been delivered.
You consent to receive notices and information from us in respect of the Website and Services by electronic communication. You may withdraw this consent at any time, but if you do so we may choose to suspend or close your Account.
